Paul Pfrehm, whose motto is “Have wheel, will travel”, has worked in clay for over 40 years and has a Bachelor of Art Education and a Master of Fine Art in clay and sculpture. He has 21 years of experience as a college instructor, along with an extensive exhibition history. In a residency with Paul, participants will explore many new methods and techniques in clay while working with a master clay artist and exceptional instructor.

Arts Learning Goals:

  • Understand clay as a 3-dimensional art form
  • Learn various methods and techniques of working with clay
  • Experience in the use of the potters wheel
  • Help small schools introduce clay as an art media
