Summer Youth Theatre Has Special Creative Needs
The directors and designers of The Off Broadway Troupers’ summer productions need people who are creative with a glue gun to help make costume items for all the changes. A few seamstresses will be helpful, too. There are some props, such as a “bathtub” on wheels for the Who character, JoJo, and a “field of pink clover” for Horton of course which have to be created. The original set concepts have been designed by two mid-school Troupers, Justus Fletcher and Scott Sanders. “We hope to have kids from 6-18 not only audition for the shows, but also volunteer to help with the props and set and costume pieces. If you have a creative bent and would like to help, please leave a message at The Playmaker, 918-786-8950 in Grove or email with your interests and talents at 1groveplaymakers@sbcglobal.net
