Conference Mosaic Project to Represent Unified Message
An interactive mosaic project will be a 'first' for the annual statewide Oklahoma Arts Conference. Throughout two days of conference activities, attendees will be encouraged to stop by the "Mosaic Marathon" room and add their own touch to a piece conceptualized by Tulsa mosaic artist, Caryn Brown. When complete, the mosaic will be installed as a public art piece by the Tulsa Arts Commission on a location near the Brady Arts District.
In its permanent location the conference mosaic will serve as a timeless reminder of the power of sharing a united vision for the arts in Oklahoma - reinforcing the message that the arts are a valuable tool for enriching our communities and igniting Oklahoma's creative spirit.
Conference participants can also enjoy a number of planned events to provide networking and opportunities to see the arts actively transforming downtown Tulsa. Take a look!...
