Artists, Others Invited to Regional Networking Forums
Artists, arts managers, art students and others are invited to participate in one of two upcoming regional networking forums. The Oklahoma Arts Council is partnering with the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) to present forums in Tahlequah on April 14, and in Alva on May 5.
Centered on the theme, "Knowledge is Power," the free forums will provide artists resources for getting work through Oklahoma Arts Council and OVAC services. Staff from each organization will discuss their organization's grant guidelines, opportunities for exhibition, roster membership and professional development. Additional state and national artist resources will be highlighted, and attendees will be able to network, share ideas and discuss challenges associated with their work.
