Bio:
The Bravo Brass Quintet is a versatile and dynamic chamber ensemble composed of the full-time, professional brass musicians of the Tulsa Philharmonic.
Founded in 1993, Bravo Brass performed over 30 concerts in its debut season. Members of the quintet hold degrees from the Julliard School of Music, the Eastman School of Music, Duquesne University, the San Francisco Conservatory and the University of Tulsa. In addition to regular concert performances, members are active music educators, teaching privately and serving on university faculties.
Bravo Brass performs a full range of musical styles including baroque, light classics, jazz, contemporary and Broadway and is committed to the full concert experience. Each program includes some music history, humor and audience and performer interaction. The quintet's concerts also feature music that is entertaining and accessible to audiences of all ages. In addition, the group presents shorter educational concerts designed to introduce younger audiences to classical music and brass instruments.
