Teaching Artists, Arts Educators Can Learn to Reach New Audiences during May 30 Workshop

The Oklahoma Arts Council is pleased to present a unique day of training for Oklahoma teaching artists and arts educators interested in reaching new audiences and expanding their services.
On Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center in Oklahoma City, Arts Education Director Jennifer Barron and Arts Learning in Communities Director Chandra Boyd will moderate a half-day workshop that will include interactive learning sessions focused on the topics of Arts and Aging and Working in Alternative Education Settings. A special afternoon session, led by Community Arts Program Director Joshua Lunsford and Grants Director Maya Hering, will cover the Oklahoma Arts Council's online grant system and will be geared toward Alternative Education school faculty.
