The Artwork

All imagery included in this work was based on landscapes with indigenous plants and animals that would have been in the area at the time of the Land Run.
Also included are a few old farm implements not found today in agricultural settings. Not to be forgotten, there are also images of the Land Run participants and Indian Teepees in the backgrounds
Commissioned by the Oklahoma Historical Society and Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center.

The Artist

Nationally recognized for her sandblast etched glasswork, Bradford has also won the National Decade of Excellence Award for glass fusing and slumping. She is published on a regular basis and authors many articles on technique.

Working since 1979, Bradford has created many architectural installations throughout the country. Her Colorado studio is small but capable of producing large installations, often employing a variety of techniques. Corporate, public and private commissions are welcome.

Each work is uniquely original and special attention is given to the client's own individual needs for any given situation. Production work is not accepted, as custom commission work remains her concentration.
