The Artwork

(In)dependence represents as OSU student's personal growth during his or her paradigm sift from dependence to independence though a visual reference to the sweep area of a modern wind turbine during an Oklahoma wind shift. Commissioned by the Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City Engineering Technology Center.

The Artist

As President of Beyond Metal, Stan is a hands-on designer of sculpture, architecture, furniture, and architectural metal specialties. He taps his 25 years of architectural practice for inspiration and process solutions to new as well as age-old problems. Stan is currently prototyping various lines of indoor/outdoor furniture that blend the intended function with a visual aesthetic driven to move the soul. Details rule. He lives in Oklahoma City.
