Brent Hart
Brent Hart was appointed Executive Director of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra (OKCPHIL) in March 2023. He has spent the past 20 years living and working in Oklahoma City, active in the community and as a volunteer leader with the OKCPHIL for more than a decade. He has served on the Associate Board, the Board of Directors, the Philharmonic Foundation, and most recently two terms as President of the Oklahoma Philharmonic Society’s Board of Directors.
Hart's passion for people and service was ignited at a young age and continued through volunteer work with the American Red Cross as a trainer for disaster, health, and safety programs. His experience encompasses employee and leader development, skills training programs, performance management and coaching. Hart has served in various leadership roles at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Williams-Sonoma, Inc., Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores, and Gulfport Energy Corporation.
Hart is passionate about the programs of OKCPHIL, especially those that reach new audiences, recognize or commemorate special events, and bring the community together. Brent believes that music is a vital part of the human experience, enhancing everyday activities, improving health, soothing emotions to help us cope and heal.
