2023 Oklahoma Arts Conference

"Promise in the Road Ahead"

Victoria Eaglebear
Victoria Eaglebear is an artist, teaching artist, and veteran. She served as a panelist for Military Veteran Center’s program, Exploring Stories of Military Service: Veteran Storytelling Workshop in 2021. She taught an Art Collage Making Activity at the Women Vets Moving Forward Through Creative Arts Event hosted by the National Endowment for the Arts and Art Spark Texas in 2021 and 2022. She continues to facilitate art workshops that help others connect with and explore their creativity through art. Her mission is to give people the space and support to be able to learn to see the world in a different way. Through these workshops, she gives participants the knowledge and tools to make a creative arts practice in their own lives. As an artist, Eaglebear is an oil painter whose work focuses on wildlife and nature portraits. Her paintings often present narrative compositions dealing with mental health themes, illustrating emotions of grief, loss, and the journey toward self-discovery.

Join us to learn how to expand arts programming to uniquely meet the needs of the military community statewide.
