Elizabeth Ressel
Elizabeth Ressel is the Director of FAME Academy, an alternative school in Comanche, Oklahoma. She taught at FAME for five years before becoming Director in 2009. Under Ressell's leadership, FAME was awarded the Oklahoma Foundation of Excellence Award in Alternative Education in 2012 and an Arts in Education Award at the 2016 Governor's Arts Awards. Prior to her work at FAME, Ressel taught English at MacArthur Junior High in Lawton. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Minor in English from the University of Dallas and a Master in Educational Leadership from Southwestern State University.
