Stan Booker
Stan Booker is the current Mayor of Lawton, originally elected in 2018 and reelected in 2021. A graduate of Lawton's Eisenhower High School, Booker attended Cameron University before launching an entrepreneurial career purchasing and expanding convenience stores and video retail outlets. He later began investing in commercial real estate. Having spent several years in Marlow, Oklahoma, Booker eventually moved home to Lawton where he has focused his time serving the community in civic work, mostly through The Greater Lawton Rotary Club. In 2015, Booker founded the Lawton Rotary Leadership Institute, serving as its first Chairman. He continues to produce leadership events for the organization and has helped grow the institute's annual event attendance to more than 1,300.

The general session luncheon program will feature a special keynote presentation by distinguished National Heritage Fellow Vanessa Jennings who has been called a "living national treasure" by two U.S. presidents for her deep knowledge of Kiowa culture. Along with Jennings' presentation, attendees will enjoy performances by pianist Hyunsoon Whang and Oklahoma State Poet Laureate Jay Snider. A legislative citation recognizing Oklahoma as Arts and Humanities Month in Oklahoma will be presented by State Representative Daniel Pae and State Representative Rande Worthen.
